I love love love this shop rite. This morning I was craving fruit so I decided to stop at shop right before beginning my 12 hour shift however I got a bad batch. I called and explained the situation the awesome manager made me a new fresh fruit bowl and had a employee bring it to my job.. this shop rite never fails me
Prefer this Shop Rite over the Ark Road location. Much bigger overall and seems to carry more volume of the items on sale each week.
Stay away from this one! Their computer systems went down this morning. Every check out lane was off line, and every lane was filled. Now it's completely understandable that this can happen, but my beef was how the Management was handling this. No back up system, all the bosses running around like chickens with their heads cut off... finally they suspended my order, and I had a very rude clerk, grab my receipt and push me along to one register that was working at the Customer Service desk... in line with at least 10 other folks who were trying to pay and deal with on line coupons etc. Total fiasco. No plan B, and certainly no courtesy, apology or even a lame explanation.
Always friendly employees. Good inventory. I would suggest to them to clean up the frozen Hispanic freezer foods shelves.

I recently gave a great review of this store and wanted to update my feelings. Since giving that review things have gone down hill. First I went looking for Visine -A for my eye allergies. Couldn't find it so we asked one of the employees out working in the isles. She barely made eye contact with us when she told us where the stuff was located. Then we went in the next isle and found it. She walks past the isle with a sour puss expression on her face as she looked to see if we were really looking for the allergy medicine. Why don't somebody tell her to have a better attitude or take her miserable self home. Think her name might have been Stephanie. Recently I was there with my Mom who currently lives with me to do grocery shopping. My Mom goes to pull a cart in to the isle and the lady says "Sorry I'm closed going on break" probably a bit louder than she had to say it. So we go in to the next checkout isle where I got to listen to the bagger talk about how big his pay check was going to be with the bagger at the next checkout. And this is a pet peeve of mine, Every time we go shopping there, There are always employees all over the store getting in the way while myself and lots of other people try to shop. Keeping the shelves replenished is one thing, but now employees are out there shopping for people which makes the shopping experience for those of us that aren't too lazy to go shopping miserable. We have had to ask employees to move out of the way numerous times. Reality is, even with that store now being 71,000 square feet, it is still too small for the amount of business for employees to be both shopping and replenishing shelves while people like me are trying to shop. Something needs to change about that or its back to Ark road for us which a few mile further away. My mother and I don't feel we should be inconvenienced like that when we have the Mount Holly Acme in my back yard and we drive past that every week to shop at Shop Rite. Hopefully some improvements can be made.
